The International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA) has launched Yachtr, a new platform for buying and selling yachts. Yachtr, developed through years of teamwork and software development, is powered by Yachtbroker.org. It aims to create a community-focused approach to yacht listings while providing buyers with a simple, easy-to-use experience.
IYBA’s Chief Operating Officer Paul Flannery explains, “Yachtr is taking control from private enterprise solutions and putting it back in the hands of the community.”
What Yachtr Offers
Yachtr makes it easy to find the right yacht with user-friendly search tools and verified listings. Buyers can search for different types of boats, such as motor yachts, sailboats, or catamarans. They can also look for specific brokers or builders. Sellers can quickly connect with professional brokers based on their location or name.

Flannery explains, “We have heard concerns from our members, and we believe that Yachtr addresses and solves the challenges that current listing sites present. We want to provide a platform that is accessible to all and inherently fair in its approach to displaying listings.”

Yachtr adds value with its “From the Bridge” blog. Users can read posts about sea trials, captains, and boat insurance. The blog offers more than just reading—subscribers can receive new content directly in their inboxes, making the experience more personal.
