IBEX 2025 Education Conference Opens Call for Proposals

The International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) has opened its Call for Proposals (CFP) for the 2025 Education Conference. Scheduled for October 7–9 at the Tampa Convention Center, this conference will offer workshops, training sessions, and technical seminars aimed at advancing the marine industry.

Last year’s conference featured 83 speakers across more than 80 events, including seminars, main stage talks, pre-conference sessions, and Tech Talks. The Education Conference is a platform for tackling technical challenges, leadership strategies, and industry trends. IBEX is looking for presentations that highlight new innovations and emerging ideas shaping the marine world.

Mary Velline, IBEX Show Director, shared: “The training offered through our Education Conference drives innovation and skill-building in the marine industry. We rely on exhibitors and educators to surface the topics that matter most for next year’s event.”

What IBEX is Looking For:

The 2025 CFP invites submissions for:

  • Seminar Series: Focused technical education in tracks like Construction Methods, Design, Emerging Topics, Sustainability, Marine Systems, and Leadership. These sessions are strictly educational—product promotions are not allowed.
  • Pre-Conference Sessions: Full- or half-day deep dives happening on Monday before the event. These sessions provide attendees with in-depth learning opportunities.
  • Tech Talk Workshops: Exhibitor-led sessions held on the show floor. These workshops highlight products or services and are subject to availability and a participation fee.

Submissions are open now through December 20, 2024. For anyone in the marine world with an idea to share or a trend to spotlight, this is your chance to contribute to the industry's future.
