The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) is the world’s largest in-water boat show, spanning nearly 90 acres and showcasing over 1,300 boats. Managed by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida and Informa Markets, this five-day event features more than three million square feet of exhibit space spread across seven prime locations, including the Bahia Mar Yachting Center, the Broward County Convention Center, and the prestigious SuperYacht Village at Pier 66 South.
Each year, FLIBS draws over 100,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors from 52 countries, showcasing everything from superyachts to boating accessories. Known for its impressive global reach, FLIBS holds more U.S. and world debuts than any other boat show in the country, making it a key event for boating enthusiasts and industry professionals alike. In 2022, it contributed $1.79 billion to Florida’s economy, with $709.7 million in sales generated by Florida companies. The show also had a local impact, generating $85.8 million in state and local taxes, including $24.5 million in Broward County alone.
Visitors outside Florida accounted for 49% of the audience, spending $47.3 million on accommodations, dining, and local attractions. FLIBS offers a range of experiences, from the exclusive Windward VIP Club—complete with open bars and gourmet food—to the sprawling SuperYacht Village, which houses the largest and most luxurious vessels.
This year’s event continues its tradition of innovation, emphasizing sustainability and advanced technology in the boating world. Attendees can use the event’s detailed maps and transport network for easy navigation between locations. Tickets and accommodation bookings are available online through the official links.
